• A meeting with the family to establish the tone and feel of the ceremony desired.  As an independent celebrant, I am happy to conduct both secular ceremonies and ones which include religious elements.

• Leading the service / facilitating and standing in reserve should the family desire to deliver the service themselves / a combination of the two.

• Liaising with the funeral director / arranger and crematorium / cemetery chapel / alternative venue.

Charge for a 25-40 minute indoor funeral £280. Double slot ceremonies  / indoor ceremonies followed directly by an outdoor burial £300.

Charge for a 30-45 minute memorial service £300.

• Assistance finding a woodland / meadow burial site and separate venue for the memorial service.

• Guidance and sourcing of reading and prayer / blessing for the burial.

• Guidance and sourcing of readings and music for the memorial service.

• Writing of eulogy and ceremonial script for the memorial service for family approval.

• Leading both the mini-ceremony at the burial site and the memorial service / facilitating and standing in reserve should the family desire to deliver the ceremonies themselves / a combination of the two. 

• Providing the family with a keepsake copy of the script. 

• Provision of music speaker, table, table cloth & electric candles if required.

• Assistance sourcing a livestream facilitator if required.

• Assistance sourcing a dove release company if required.

• Liaising with the funeral director / arranger, woodland / meadow burial site, memorial service venue, livestream facilitator & dove release company if required.

Charge for a combined service spanning 2 venues  on the same day £350.

If the combined service spans 2 separate dates £385.  

• A discussion with the family regarding the mini-ceremony desired.

• Where appropriate, liaising with the cemetery / land-owners of the burial / scattering site.

• Guidance and sourcing of reading and prayer / blessing.

• Writing of mini-ceremony (no eulogy) for family approval. 

• Leading the service / facilitating and standing in reserve should the family desire to deliver the service themselves / a combination of the two. 

Charge for an interment or scattering of ashes ceremony £170 for new clients, and £85 for existing clients who have already commissioned a funeral / memorial service.
